Ripples of Hope is City Year Chicago’s largest annual fundraiser, raising more than $1,200,000 to support our mission.
At Ripples of Hope, City Year strives to mirror Robert F. Kennedy’s 1966 address in South Africa through the civic contributions of our honorees and the service of City Year Chicago’s AmeriCorps members.
Kennedy proclaimed that a stand against injustice can create a small “ripple of hope” and eventually build a “current which can sweep down the mightiest walls of oppression and resistance.”
